Dan begin ik wel

Together with six young people the performance Dan Begin Ik Wel (Then I will begin) is created. In the performance the young actors told their story about flee as a refugee to the Dutch city Rotterdam. They share their journey to the Netherlands, their reunion with family, their struggle and hope of finding a new home and their experiences with a new city, friends and school. A vivid and sweet performance with personal stories, dance and interaction with the audience.

The performance is made during a long-term project Lukas had with international schools in Rotterdam, in which he created several art education programs, such as workshops, community projects and performance-making.
